Don't Tell Me The Score is a brilliant series of podcasts (free on BBC Sounds) that links Sport to our wellbeing. It's really positive and uplifting and a variety of experts and sportspeople give their stories and tips on life in general. It explores themes such as: mindfulness, sleep, diet, how our brain works and resilience as well as so much more. This would be great to listen to whilst running. I highly recommend it.

I like to listen to a podcast while I'm running and as I'm also looking at how to improve my stamina I think I'll give this a go. I'm not, like you, a great distance runner. I'm currently on week 7 of the Magic 10 but I am finding the runs hard and I'm wondering what I need to do to make even these distances a bit more easy/pleasurable/comfortable. I don't how you do it but I do have a few more years than you!

I also find The Running Channel on YouTube really inspiring, especially the runs that Anna does. This really motivates me. Are you finding your pace steady as you run? I go really steadily and always try and breathe in and out through my nose for a lot of the run, this helps my pacing and I end up feeling comfy. Then I go to in through the nose and out through the mouth.

I've found that my breathing has become really comfortable and steady whereas it used to be very ragged. I just feel done in when I finish. I find myself hoping my times up SOON! Plus my knees are pretty sore. I wonder if it's my diet. I eat well though most of the time so I don't know what I'm doing wrong 🤷‍♀️
