Clean Sheets

I woke up today, how can I 'Put This' politely, in a rather Smelly, Sicky Mess. I'd had a 'Dodgy' Tummy, most of yesterday, and yes I had had a Tummy Ache when I went to bed. If I said that 'The Poo Wanted Out' that would, almost certainly, describe it well🟤 (closest I could find to a 'Poo').

I put the sheets, onto wash, this morning- before I went out- I might just get the Same CLEAN Sheets, back on, my bed tonight! My Under Sheet(s) are, sort of, Semi disposable....I have Commissioned a new Set anyway.

I know that this is NOT the 'Nicest', of subjects, but, I wonder, just how many of us have this/ these Problems/ Troubles? I guess it makes a Change from being Bunged Up! Sorry, once again, everyone.

Well you've raised a subject that many folk can understand and have also experienced. There's a nasty tummy bug going around and not just in my area, south of the Thames,in Surrey but a friend in Devon has been "poo'd out" a few times poor girl😳!

Hope you have a cleaner night, tonight!!💩💩🙊

HI AndrewT, I have just recovered from colitis suffering for only a few months and taking a suppository - supposedly for all night was a task I failed. But I am cured but scared to death that I will go through that again.

Is your undersheet waterproof, I'm thinking of getting one just to protect my recently new mattress. Hopefully, this does not happen to you too often?

Dear Greyone,

Sorry to be a 'Tad' late replying.....To answer your question- If I know that there is a, shall I say, 'Distinct' Possibility, of an accident I put a plastic sheet under the towel- that I Always Keep Under my sheets, where I sleep. The towel is Washable, the plastic sheets? Well not always re-useable, especially if I have Messed the bed....Sorry for the erm...S**t subject matter here!

The alternative, and I personally HATE this, is a Total Mattress Protector. These are an entirely Waterproof...and TOTALLY impermeable, under sheet that is put on the actual mattress- rather like a Fitted sheet. Horrible, absolutely AWFUL...it makes you sweat, worse than if you 'Wet' it. (It might be of some help to, VERY Heavy Wetter's….Maybe☹).

Sorry that I can't be of more help Greyone. Kindest wishes

Sorry, to be coming back to this, some months later but... I HAVE now bought a, much 'Better', under blanket. A soft, fleecy, very comfortable and- best of all- Entirely Washable one. I have put it, back on the bed, today after....erm, ah... getting it 'mucky', on Wednesday. All of Six Pounds in, our branch, of QD- Very well worth getting one, just fits over the existing mattress.

Just thought I'd pass this on.
