As I was preparing my questions for my doctor appointment, I had read the post about tinnitus, and my right ear had been hurting and ringing, luckly my doctor said I just had fluid behind the right ear. I have often wondered what other peoples sed rate is, I will find out next week where my inflamation level is now, it was down from 78 to 34 last time I had my blood drawn. It has now been an offical year of having this terrible disease, PMR. I have found great comfort in my relationship with my Lord, and reading sciptures and knowing that my friends are praying. I am truely blessed and continue on knowing that the Joy of the Lord is my strength. I have also pushed myself everyday to do a stretching routine. At first it was impossible to do all of the stretches, but I made myself do them, I pushed through the pain and it has been very helpful. I will continue on this path since it seems to be helpful.

Hi Lawrie,
I was the one who posted the blog on tinnitus. I have come to the conclusion that my tinnitus is due to a rise in blood pressure. I have noticed that the problem arises after taking pred or ibuprofen - which both cause a rise in BP, and also I sometimes get it after exercise and when I feel uptight.
I hope your belief in the teachings of Christ continue to give you comfort. It has been proved that "belief" can give extra help in times of great stress.

Hi Pats,
Can you beleive I have just gotten to my e-mails dated Nov. 19th , that is how far behind I am on my e-mails that are not my work e-mails. I still have 6 more weeks to go through! I will get it done. Thank you for your thoughts on tinnitus and what you have linked it to.
Yes, My faith in my Lord Jesus Christ always gives me comfort, and strength to get me through each and every day!! " The Joy of the Lord is my strength"
Have a blessed day, and thanks for all of your wonderful posts!
Hi lawrie,
my pleasure, believe me. I get so much back from you and everyone else that the time I spend on this site is really worth it.
I know what you mean regarding e-mails. Some time ago, because I had kept all the e-mais to PMR/GCA I found I had over a thousand, so I set about putting all the important ones into folders. It took me about 3 weeks to do it, but now I have all relevent info on all members who have posted and it's so helpful to see how folks are doing now when compared to how they were in the beginning. Almost all, including me, are improving or at least seem more positive.
Bless you too, Lawrie and have a wonderful Christmas.
