my left side of my body is worse than my right , but my left leg is more swollen that the right is this normal? does anyone know or had this , i got the tape out the top of my right leg 21in and the top of my left leg is 22 1/2in .

I get cramp and swelling in the left side of my tongue only, so maybe it favours one side? I find the pains also travel around my body although the excrutiating pain I felt last year was in my left arm also. ???

I have same left/ right symptoms as you describe. No one has given me an explanation either..My ankle swelling is much more than at the thigh.,and I am ten months on the journey with little remission .

I also have left sided swelling on the left side of my face, jaw, and neck. There is a cartoid artery dissection there. Swelling is to the point of being external ? and it is on the left. Have been told by my thoracic surgeon, that if there is pain there, to call him, come in to his office or go to the Emer. Room. -- ? don't know about this left sided swelling ?

None of these symptoms are because of PMR. You should consult your GP for an explanation and or a review of your diagnosis and treatment

PMR when treated by the correct dose of steroids should free you from pain. Dose reductions should be linked to your response and blood tests that determine the level of inflammation in your body. Swelling must be caused by some other condition or side effects from medication you are taking
