Just finished a bout of the flu

I’m currently at 2 mgs and am recovering from the flu. Very draggy of course but now I’m itchy all over? Is that related to poor adrenal function? Never had this problem before. Thanks

Is your skin very dry? That is a common cause of itchiness and it has been discussed quite a lot recently. Maybe you have become dehydrated while ill?

But yes - poor adrenal function can also result in dry skin and itching and while you were ill your body would normally have produced more cortisol to help. If your adrenal function is still suppressed by the 2mg pred, that may not have happened. That is why you often need the Sick Day Rules for something like flu.
