I posted a bit back about this - I took everything with me except the pred when I left one daughter where I was staying to go to the other for a funeral!! Never done it before, I usually stop half a mile down the road to check I have all my medications!!!!
So when I realised, I went to Boots and spoke to the pharmacist who happily agreed with me it was too risky and dispensed a week's emergency supply. He even apologised for the fact Boots CHARGE for this so I gathered that other pharmacies probably don't when you are over 60!! But that is the new Boots for you - I usually avoid them like the plague but we were in a strange place and the retail park was opposite the hotel.
And yes - ALWAYS take at least double what you think you will need and I take full packs of everything if I am going to be more than a few miles from "home", whether at home or away.
Oh I've learnt my lesson big time. Ridiculous because I have accumulated tons of the stuff.Still all sorted now and a big recommendation for 111 online for anyone else who finds themselves in a similar situation.
