Infection causing flare?

I have four weekly Depomedrone injections as I can't take oral Pred. I had tapered to 40mg six weeks ago which didn't seem to help at all..My arms and shoulders were very stiff and painful..In the meantime I developed a cyst on my back..I saw the locum at the surgery who agreed to increase my Depo back to 60mg for the next injection..He also gave me ten days antibiotics for the cyst. I duly had my 60mg which again did nothing..The cyst grew and burst and has been very painful..My husband has been changing the dressings twice daily and I have to see the practice nurse once a week to have it cleaned out. Six weeks on and another batch of antibiotics and my shoulders, arms, hips, back etc. are very stiff and painful. So....question....could it be the toxins in my body from the infected cyst causing my body so much pain? The cyst is getting better slowly but I'm crawling around like a rusty old machine and feeling like crying with the pain ( except I'm not a crier) Has anyone else had a flare like this? ( If this is a flare) I'm due to have 60mg again next week, just hope it helps this time, otherwise I'm not sure where I go from here.Thank you lovely people for listening to my moans.
