Do you live in Yorkshire and can get to McArthur Glen Designer Outlet in York. We meet upstairs tomorrow Wednesday 5th June in the food court 11-1pm next to McDonalds and will move in to the quiet seats once were all there.

Not new we branched out from Ilkley now covering a wider area with up North with Ilkley, York and Sheffield. Started after Covid. Leeds is next week 12th in John Lewis Community Hub top floor next to the Cafe 12-12 to 2pm. Flying in? 🤣🤣

Flying NO, never again after coming over for Sheffield graduation!! But will be over in the summer, I assumed it was from the original group but is the York venue a new one?

We have met there about 6 times over the last two years. Its in the outlet so plenty of parking and a good park and ride service from York. The food court does get busy but its free and there are quiet areas. Its quite informal as we don't have a room but as attendance is sporadic we cant guarantee to cover the cost of booking one. Then there's the added bonus of shopping!!

I have loved in York most of my life. The management at the designer centre as locals call it are very helpful. It may be worth contacting them those if they can give you a free meeting room worth the ask anyway It's gets very very busy at times in the food area often you cannot find a table never mind a meeting for more than 4.

Sadly I don't live in York anymore ( the best City in the UK to visit)

but if I did I would definitely join your meeting group.

Keep up the amazing work your doing.

That is a great idea. I have just picked this up as I got back at 3 from the meeting. We got a table near the window for 9 of us. It went really well and did get busy a room would be ideal. I shall look in to it. Thank you for this it is really helpful.

I could be interested in a York meeting. Just about doable over the bridge. Do post the next date when you have it please.

Not booked one in yet looking at September as it’s school holidays next and people are away or mindinding grandchildren. If you want to join our mailing list I email all members nearer the time. It’s also on the website. I will put it on here too. You cam PM me with your email if you wanted to?
