So much to learn

On my walk yesterday I met a friend I had not seen for weeks, hubby had told her in April that I had over done it as usual last month. So I told her about PMR and of course she had never heard of it and was shocked, when I described how you can not move, walk, lift arms etc. But she did joke that she wondered why my front garden was not looking as good and has offered to help. I managed to walk to the beach listening to Tony Blackburn’s Sounds of the Sixties on my ear buds but even that did not stop me realising my hip was starting to hurt. Could just be that walking on my own is different to walking dog and having a rest at every lamp post or is it a warning, I turned around and walked home. Watched a bit of the Post Office live inquiry and thought to myself, yikes could be worse, I could be her.

Or a disgraced falsely Sub Postmaster/mistress. Maybe you were more aware of the effect of the dog pulling you on that side. Do paracetamol help at all?

Before I started Pred I tried paracetamol and anti flam stuff but they never really made any difference. I am just starting this new way of life so still learning. Quite impressed how my brain has accepted the new life, I thought I would screaming from the roof tops but I am not. My Dob is my 11th and probably my last so I knew the importance of training from the first day, I was only thinking last month when she was walking perfectly that it had taken 20 months of hard work to show the world how brilliant the breed is. I never like walking without her and if she had been with me I probably would have ignored the hip pain and been in big trouble this morning, but no pain so that is good.

Never mind her - suddenly afflicted by dementia it sounds like! Worse for the poor post office people whose lives she ruined.

Bursitis? A very common part of PMR and aggravated by walking and, especially, stairs. There are stretches that might help:

I don’t know if my Surgeon removed the Bursa Sac when he did the hip, certainly feels like it is still there. Good old frozen peas on it this morning. He removed the one on the other side as it was better out then left. I have been waiting for that all is good let’s get going moment this morning but no sign of it yet. I did a 2 mile doggy walk and it did not feel any worse, just stiff.

That woman must have some very good legal team behind her telling her how to react and what to say. Will be interesting to see how many get prosecuted.

No sympathy for her… definitely a case of selective dementia and blame someone else.

Quite agree. Plenty of time to practise crocodile tears, put paper hankies far enough away to be dramatic reaching for them, etc, etc. Perfect example of what is wrong in the country

Should have a good career on the stage in the future - I doubt she'll even get a smacked hand,

Well she ‘returned’ her CBE - before it was withdrawn … so she probably imagines that’s enough.
