More likely caused by the high dosage required for sight issues in this case ..

..rather than the time spent on a smaller doses..

But no doubt, scary at the time...

Potentially because of potential GCA after visual loss. The only time I have heard mania mentioned is from the few patients on the forum who have suffered it - but I'd suggest on that basis that though it IS rare, it isn't that rare in patients on very high doses.

Bless him - he'd best not come on holiday here, we have real bears a bit further south, he'd think he'd relapsed ...

😂very true PMRpro. He's probably disappointed he didn't get higher compensation. I suppose such a psychotic experience is scary. Sounds rather like my lucid dreams. Poor fella.
