The other day there was a post about dermatitis. A number of people wrote about E45 cream. Well, of course, Amazon sells it and I ordered a tube. I have to say that it is far better than any cream my dermatologist prescribed. Thank you, thank you. I learn so much on a daily basis from this forum 😍

Personal experience of others is always helpful - and usually better than what a textbook [via the doctor] may say.. 😊

I think a lot of doctors in the UK use it. I wonder if the ones you've had in the past were the result of the most recent rep visit - which don't happen in the UK ...
Hi.yes I use it.my mum use it alot.
After a recent flare up, I now have my eczema (atopic dermatitis) back under control. For maintenance, I'm diluting a dab of steroid cream in E45 and spreading it over the most susceptible areas. It's a kind of taper, I suppose. I increase the size of the dab at the first sign of inflammation. When I was on about 5mg or more prednisolone, I was able to use neat E45, of course. I routinely put a dab of antiseptic cream (Savlon) in the mix, too, which seems to help.
