? Cover required for endometrial biopsy

I have been on prednisolone for over 2 years now and still on 10mg. I have a hysteroscopy and endometrial biopsy planned tomorrow and although this is only a minor procedure with no general anaesthetic or sedation, I’m just wondering whether I will need any extra steroid cover? Does anyone have any knowledge of these sort of procedures? Dr Google hasn’t been very helpful!

I wouldn't have thought you needed any extra pred - though it probably depends a bit on how apprehensive you are. Have you asked your medical team? I would take extra with me, having taken your normal dose in the morning, ask them and see how you feel afterwards.

Thanks- tbh I didn’t really think about it until today, but I’m not worried at all, so hoping all will go smoothly. Not a bad idea though, just to take to extra with me.
