Today the photo feed gave me a reminder of the photos I had taken 4 years ago. One year following diagnosis with PMR, I was with friends at the cliffs of Moher. My friends walked, I could not. So I took a few phots when they were gone for an hour. My disease lasted with me three years.

Thankfully, I now can walk for hours, and often break into a run. Never better.

I am not gloating, just thankful for the reminder to be thankful.

I was one of the many who great support from this site. We stay silent after recovery, but never ungrateful.

Wishing speedy progress to you all.

They can be cheering. Sometimes it feels like we aren’t making progress but we are. I don’t like seeing my moon face popping up though. 🌝

Thanks for reminding us there is light at the end of the tunnel. It can be hard to imagine you’ll ever see it at times as it’s a long slow curving tunnel. Delighted to hear you are doing so well. Go n-éirí leat

With such a diagnosis I was a little shocked

What does it mean, from what am I blocked

Can I work, can I play, am I now past my day

Web said avoid pred, it's sure needed I'd say.

Doctor finds out some views that I doubt

If some others about I'd give them a shout

Didn't know even one, so alone it begun

Am I done, is this the end of what's fun?

Moving as if locked, my confidence rocked

When then I discovered HealthUnlocked

I learn, then discern I'm now fit for this task

I'll get an answer to any question I may ask.

There I find many a post, this may help most

Fish, a chicken roast, but easy on that toast

How to deal with the pain, how to keep sane

They keep it nice, precise, avoid the profane.

One struggles, one sighs, perhaps one cries

Compassion applies with a hundred replies

Thanks to those who are running the affairs

A community that shares, one which cares
