I'm trying to change my profile pic as that was taken about 7 years ago when I joined and still looked young and youthful which is misleading to anyone reading my posts LOL. PMR has certainly aged me. I can't find the option in the profile settings - any idea anyone? It only gives an option to add an avatar.

Go to your profile - select update - it will come up with pop up box. If you don’t want to change anything other than picture then close it. You should see avatar and banner have a band across them with Add avatar [or banner]+ across them . Select option - read advice and okay it.. you will get options - photo library, take photo or choose file . Make changes and save.
Just for info, Fran_Benson does have a reminder in her regular welcome posts regarding profiles/bios - and there is a Pinned Post to help.
Tried what you said. Ive now got a big banner of my eyes as well as an old profile pic and i can't figure out how to get rid of either of them. Can't find a delete option
Go in again… and do them separately -you have to select something - don’t think you can delete and have nothing. If you have a photo for your avatar- then do that first.. see if it’s okay.
I think you might have confused HU [not difficult] and they have taken the photo as the banner as well - and enlarged it…
Thanks, it looks like you can change a pic but not delete it. Well I now have a picture that makes me look older and wiser but not bad for age and miles on the clock. And oneof my own photos of fog as an appropriate banner. Thanks IT Support desk you deserve a tea break
😆Whilst editing my profile I saw that apparently I've managed to write 123 Posts and 4298 Replies over the years which probably cmes under the 'prolific' category. Is this a record (apart from you and PMRPro and other experts who are answering all the time). 😆😆
I didn't know that, ta. I only make it on to page 2 or 3 . I clicked on something that says Similar to me which looks interesting, looks like it goes mainly by age
I looked like a young whippersnapper in the old photo. Which I was in 2016. At least with my face being filled out by steroids it has fewer wrinkles than many of my friends'
