Vaccine tomorrow COVID and Flu .

Just wondering,if you do have a reaction to COVID jab, how long does it take before you know you not going to flare, think IAM over thinking xx

I think you might be. What triggers a flare can be a succession of events or a single one so who knows? Also, the response to the vaccine doesn’t stop after a couple of days. You might be fine with the vaccine but something else does the deed and it takes weeks to build up. However, you just might be fine. It’s not beyond the bounds of possibility! 🙂

ThanksSnazzy , just wish we could with out it, but we don't want to take the chance, only taking COVID just now. Xx

Hi, the only reaction I had was to Astra Zenica. Booster before last just felt like had been kicked in the arm by a camel! Had a Covid booster on Friday and no reaction at all. I was feeling much calmer generally and maybe that was a factor.

I had my covid booster 2 weeks ago, as a single jab without the flu. I have been fine. I took a couple of paracetamol before I went to the surgery and felt very slightly drowsy for 24 hours, but apart from that, no issues so far.

And I have to add that whenever I have reacted to vaccinations (and I have had a lot as I have travelled the world widely), I have always started to feel unwell within 6-12 hours. I've always tried to book appointments for vaccinations at the end of day if possible, so that I am in bed asleep not too long after.

I had my Covid booster 10 days after 1st Shingrix jab. Covid arm very slightly sore 24 hours but Shingrix arm was pretty dire with redness, swelling then itching for nearly all that 10 days. I would not have been surprised to flare after that, but not thus far. Flu jab tomorrow - 10 days after Covid jab. Fingers crossed, but feel ok about it. The other option is not thinkable imho.

I had my covid (and flu) jabs two weeks ago. No reaction whatsoever to the covid jab, the flu arm was a little sore for a couple of days.
