I am invited to have both Covid and Flu jabs together but having read that they might be better separated l am now a little reluctant to have both at the same time. Is there any evidence as to the best course to take. GCA Dec 2020.. On 9mg pred and methotrexate.

Covid and Flu, Covid then Flu.
If you have a look at related posts - either right of screen or at bottom of current posts depending what device you’re on - there is plenty of info. But think most try and leave at least a week between the two.
Studies say there is no reason why the two shouldn't be administered together - many vaccines are given at the same time without problems. Personally I was very pleased that the way our system here works meant I had 6 days between jabs - turn up vaccine centre for the booster, GP for the flu jab. I had no adverse effects from either this time. The second (Moderna) Covid jab seemed to cause a flare of PMR, the Pfizer booster didn't and the flu jab did nothing either.
I had both the same day ... Pfizer and flu.... after few days relapse of PMR on 20 mg pred
I thought I would have preferred a week or two between jabs but ended up having both on the same day when I was offered them. I thought I couldn’t have both on the same day anyway as I’ve had breast cancer treatment and can’t have any jabs on that side. My GP suggested I have the covid one in my arm and the flu one in my butt. A little screen was provided! Slightly tender arm was the only after effect, no PMR flare. Was glad to have it done and dusted in one visit. Was on 4mg Pred.
Had both at the same time with no problem, just sleepy for 24 hours!
We left ours for two weeks between the booster and flu jab. However, we weren't told to do so, we just felt better doing it this way.
I got the Pfizer booster and flu shots 4 October with zero side affects. On 13mg pred, down from 20 started on 2 July, 2021.
I had both same day,no side effect apart from sore arm for day or two.x
