A vaccine for PMR?

This sounds almost too good to be true. But if it works for these other diseases, it might work for PMR, too.

My sister always says look out for the words ‘may’ or ‘could’ in articles as it probably means it is either fake news or it will never happen.

It is like the opposite of a vaccine, my understanding anyway. To desensitise the immune system to the original virus/ infection that sent it into overdrive. It is a very interesting development.

I think it’s great to hear that research and studies are being done. It’s tempting to think it may have a positive outcome, but it may not. Years can go by and scientific testing has many rigorous phases that produce data. I think we all agree it’s so needed!

Well, yeah, but if it eventually works for PMR/GCA, we wouldn't have any good excuse to get together like this!
