What sort of blood thinner are you on? Warfarin is traditionally taken in the evening as a sort of standardised time to know how well it is working when they test in the morning. What is important is that they are taken at the same time every day - and it may be a bit difficult changing the time. You need to speak to the doctor really.

Then I think it is OK to chose the time - but changing the time by 12 hours will need to be done slowly - like taking it an hour earlier each day until you get to the morning time and doing the reverse if you want to go back to the evening time, Otherwise you will have a very high level if you take it 12 hours early or very low level if you take it 12 hours late. However - it does look as if you could take half a tablet to take you to the new time, I looked it up and there are studies about it. But do ask your doctor,

Then try taking it earlier each day until you get to where you want.
