adrenals?

Have had a rocky ride since having Covid in January resulting in a flare . Am currently down to 7.5 mg again.. Am noticing increasing fatigue - feel extremely tired sometimes even after breakfast. Also feeling very anxious and jittery at times and last week or two my head starts spinning when I get up from sitting. Does this seem like it could be something to do with my adrenals? ( am thinking its a bit early for problems?)

No it's not too early - any dose between 5-10mg.... we often quote 7.5mg - but that's just an average -

I would say you probably haven't fully recovered from the Covid and are still struggling because of that. And anywhere below 10mg is fair game, depending on other demands like recovering from something.

7.5mg was a horrible level for me. It seemed too high to trigger the adrenal response but too low to do the job; a horrible no man’s land. Once I reduced further my body got the message better. Your need for cortisol may be increased also by recent Covid; it can still take weeks or months to recover even if the initial symptoms were mild.

I’m currently reducing from 7.5 to 7 and have the same jittery feelings. Constantly feeling scared _ about what I don’t know. Head swims when I roll over on my left side. Interesting that we have similar problems and are at the same stage of reduction.

Have you seen a Dr. about head swimming? Mine started at 5mg and Drs don't seem to have an answer.

Thanks for the comments. it’s reassuring to know that however uncomfortable it all is it does look like it could stem from Adrenals.
