We've been struggling over the last 2 weeks. Our interior building work came to a halt on 26/03 waiting for electrical work to be completed before re-installing new ceilings. Finally I contacted our builder and told him we were getting too close to our trip (which we'd not discussed with him as it didn't seem relevant as work was to start on 20/03) Anyhow, he's no pulled out the stops and all should be completed by 21/04 giving us 2+ weeks to re-assemble the house, live in it for a while before handing over to house sitters.
We both had rheumy appts last week. Mark for aspiration of fluid and steroid into his left knee after an amazing result on the right. He goes back at the end of April for Hylauronic Acid in both. He's gonna be good to go!
My appt was also positive. She's provided me with means to titrate my Metoject by giving me 2 prescriptions. One at 17.5mg which has worked well and one at 20mg. I will alternate for the next few weeks. I am shocked and pleased that she still feels there can still be some improvement in my hands. She wants to me to address my steroid level (10mg) when we come back from Canada. I will be happy to come back down, I'm not enjoying the extra fat pads around my upper middle and my moon face. So, I too should be good to go.
We're both very tired and hope to have time t catch up. Falling into bed each night at 09h30 is helpful but then we're both awake by 06h00. I've been stressed and quite labile. I've taken an extra 5mgs this lunchtime.
Weds/Thursday was noisy. Our very, very old crumbling shutters were replace. Ordered in September. We're over the moon with them. I went out yesterday and bought some Geraniums and a couple of Hibiscus for instant kerb appeal. I know the Hibiscus will need planting. I'll get the housesitters onto it in May.
Have a great Easter everyone.
