Hi everyone,

Well I’ve had a very interesting conversation with my doctor. She totally agrees that rheumatologist has fobbed me off. She agrees with me they can hardly tell what it is without an X-ray and I would not have arthritis of the hip as I’ve had hip replacement .

She is arranging an X-ray and if it gets worse go to A/E as X-ray results take a few days to come through.

Well someone has her brain in gear!!!You aren't serious are you - they diagnosed arthritis not only over the phone but in a hip prosthesis?????

Oh but they did, the mind boggles, obviously they were not paying attention, this is the problem with 3rd hand conversations, I should of spoke to the rheumatologist direct, not via the practitioner nurse who relayed my symptoms to him and then they relayed his answer to me.

Think a complaint might be worth it - that sort of carelessness costs lives ...
