have now been off pred for nearly 4 months. Still have pains on moving, but in different places.
my new hell is blood blisters, Dr thinks Pemphigus. Hooray another Autoimmune condition to add to my collection.
Anyone else suffered this.

Can't remember anyone here - but there were a few on the LupusUK forum.
Oh! Poor you 😫. I’ve not heard of this. What is your doctor doing for you?
Is it a blood blister or purpura which are much flatter on the skin and normally reddy purple?
I seem to develop purpura at the least trauma - assume because skin is weaker/thinner on steroids. Just pruned some raspberries and one has come up without me noticing. Blasted things. Just something else to add ... I hope it doesn't continue when/if I ever get off Pred.
‘Fraid to say it does [but a lot less]..although older skin is prone to anyway….
Ah, well - another thing to look forward to. Thanks, DL.
Since I got to single figure pred doses I don't develop purpurae at all! That is after 14+ years on pred.
I don’t know where they come from. I have just got the biggest I have ever had. I get a cheap thrill by checking them when I am swimming and check the numbers when I am resting at the end if the pool. I swear they increase when I am swimming!
a proper blood blister, which bursts, messily, heals a bit, then starts again
dr prescribed Betnovate cream
