MPR a expert in Oxfordshire?

Can anyone recommend a PMR expert in Oxfordshire please?

Looking at your profile you have written you have PMR.

PMR is dealt with at GP level, unless their are complications and you are referred to a Rheumatologist.

GCA is dealt with at Consultant level.

I have no idea whether he still is practicing or if he does see people privately.

Doesn't appear to do private - got his finger in too many other things to have time I suspect.

I see him and his team at the Nuffield orthopaedic hospital , Oxford . I see him via nhs, not sure if he does private. There is also Dr Dubey.

I too have seen Prof. Luqmani at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Hospital, Oxford via NHS. This was for GCA and they were very thorough with about three ultra sounds in the first 2 years, looked until they couldn't find anything. Didn't always see him and couple of 'dud' visits with indifferent doctors. The Prof himself is excellent, listens well and is happy to let you do your own Pred. reduction plan as long as you talk him through it.

which was my concern too! Unfortunately, I wasn’t inspired with confidence at all when I saw a rheumatologist at the Nuffield following NHS referral.

Had been checking this and other the profiles locally and hardly anyone mentioned interest in PMR. A trip to Chertsey looks more likely for me.
