Hello, Harrywogan. You don't say what the interval was between your flu and Covid vaccine but I think it's been generally acknowledged here that two weeks minimum is best. Did you have these in the same arm? Having your Shingrix vaccine only a week after either one or both of those may have been a step too far as two weeks between jabs has been recommended.
Your accident will most likely have contributed to a rise in inflammation levels.
~Hi Harrywogan - you have had a lot to contend with and I want to say "please don't apologize" for thinking you are having a moan.
We all need to feel we can safely share our inner feelings knowing that our comrades will understand our concerns.
Whilst I have no definitive answers I would venture to suggest a bit of each of your situation/s will have added layers of its own to the inflammation gathering process.
Go well & gently does it in the process ~
Hi Harry, sorry to hear you're having so many problems. Please don't apologise for moaning, that's absolutely justified.Just wanted to comment that I had flu and Covid vaccine same day and felt dreadful for a week or more after.
I'm sure when you add Shingrix into the mix that's bound to raise inflammation markers.
Take care and hope you recover soon.

My GP was very anti the idea of having the flu and Covid jabs close together and absolutely NOT on the same day.
However, it has been said in the literature for some time that a fall is enough to cause a flare in PMR - and I don't imagine you broke your collarbone without some degree of mechanism to do it!
