3 months ago my husband suddenly developed a hard lump on the side of his face in front of his ear. He’s been tested for everything and we’re waiting for results still. My question is, has anyone else had similar? I have also read that this could be linked to Sarcoidosis which he had as a youngster and is another auto immunise condition so could all be linked?

Saliva gland lump on face
Has he asked a dermatologist for their input? Quite often odd lumps can be cysts etc.
Reminds me when my uncle suddenly developed a hard lump on his forehead. He joked he was turning into a unicorn. I'm sorry I don't know anything about what investigations were done or what was discovered but if I remember correctly it went away by itself. As I didn't live near him and only saw him every few years, and both he and my aunt have passed away I'll never know more, but maybe it's one of those weird things aging skin can spring on us and is benign and transitory.
As for the sarcoidosis, I don't think that goes away. It's something always with us, although hopefully inactive - I have it, diagnosed through biopsy when I was in my mid thirties but I'm pretty sure I had it as a teenager. I have to watch my Vitamin D intake to this day as sarcoid granulomas actually activate Vitamin D so it's easy to get to a toxic level if taking supplements to the level often recommended to older adults.
