5th jab yesterday

5th Covid Jane yesterday. Very well administered, didn't feel d thing. Arm became sore last night, woke at 3am with shivers, electric blanket went on at full blast! And 2 paracetamol.

8am a tad disorientated, and felt nauseous.

Another 2 paracetamol. Now in bed wishing I'd never had the jab, 5th, a Pfizer meant to tackle Delta and Omicron. I didn't feel this bad when I actually had the virus in January!

Just venting. 🤷

Thanks Mrs N. I tried to edit my post obviously it failed as it was a Covid jab, not a Covid Jane

Thanks SC - you doing OK?

Not too bad but it is strange to feel that heavier winter boots and shoes makes it harder to walk these days. Sign of being more feeble. Dreary day here today.

Dreary maybe but there’s beauty in that big sky…

Oh dear! Hope you feel better soon Mama. I had mine last Monday and okay - did take paracetamol for a day to ward off anything. Just had flu jab.

The shivers seem to be common, I had it a bit in evening of jab, ans someone I spoke to this morning had same. But we were both okay following morning...

Paracetamol - take for 24 hrs before vaccine and 24 -48 hours afterwards works a treat.

Pziser jab reaction

That sounds exactly how I feel, apart from the headache! Been taking the paracetamol and reckon it's probably helped!

Wherabouts in France does your friend live? I lived in the Charente.

It is a friend of a friend so I don't know but my sister has just headed of to Raix with my nephew. Is that anywhere near you?

MamaBeagle profile image
MamaBeagle in reply toMamaBeagle

Raix is about half an hour away from where we lived. We returned to England early in 2018

Small world eh?

I had covid left arm and flu right arm, been really poorly for 3 weeks xx

MamaBeagle in reply toPoshcards

Oh, no! I'm all better today. I only posted as it was the first time I'd had that kind of reaction. I'd already decided not to be double jabbed like you've been, just in case😏. 3 weeks seems a long time to feel bad. Have you contacted your GP? What response?

Poshcards profile image
Poshcards in reply toMamaBeagle

no, just seen it through, dont think it helps giving up 2 weeks of metho jabs too, thanks for your concern, take care xx
