Leflunomide

hi.just want some advice,can i take omega 3 tablets while on leflunomide.i am 3mgs pred,10mg leflunomide a day.doing very on these tablets at mo.any advice will help.thank you.

Honestly don't know. They appear to be OK taken with MTX and even improve the response in RA. The paper says "DMARDs" but then goes on to only talk about MTX! I imagine they are OK with leflunomide and I can't find any listed drug interactions

hi, I am taking 15mg leflunomide daily and also take cod liver oil with omega 3. I have been taking this for at least a year and all fine with me. I was also taking it when I was on pred.

hi.i am still on pred 3mg.oh thats good thank you.ive only been on leflunomide for about 5 weeks.when you get to 1mgs do you have to stop after a month or go to 2.5mg.thanks again.

hi, I did cut my tablets in half from around the point your at, so cutting by 1/2 at a time. I was allowed to do it in my own time although that was during Covid so may have been left to it more than usual. I am now off pred since February and so far so good
