struggle to get from 8.5 to 8mg.

Just want to say a big thank you when i asked for advice as i was struggling to go from 8.5 to 8mg.Ive finally managed it after 12 weeks.now on week 2 of Dorset lady7 week taper.

That’s good news. 8.5 to 8 mg seems to be my nemesis. I’ve had 4 failed attempts so far.

Thanks tiggy70,sorry to hear you are struggling to get to 8mg,I'm sure you will do it,I have had to learn to be patient with this pmr,it's in charge not us or doctors.all the best to you.

Good luck with the reduction. I've got down to 6mg but have been getting stiff neck and hips again. I've been pushing myself somewhat as I'm fed up with thinking I'm being a wimp but maybe I need to ease up. I couldn't sit cross legged in the Yoga class this morning but felt easier afterwards. I might try returning to 7mg for a few days and see what happens 🤔
