Technology!

In the past, every time I’ve gone on this forum I’ve had to ‘sign in’. However, the last 2 days any post that comes up takes me straight into the forum.

I’ve altered absolutely nothing. Guess it’s just one of those technical hitches!🤷

It would appear that your device is now remembering your password and using autofill. I never have to log in - when I do it's because I've cleared a bunch of cookies, but a simple click gets me into the site again. I would view having to log in every time a technical glitch! On the other hand if you don't want this to happen you could change your password and tell your device NOT to remember it. I don't know if there is a way to get your device to forget a password. It may still require you to log in, as happens to me when I clear the cookies, but the password could still be saved in autofill.

It is, of course, important to protect your private ability to access sites when you share a computer. No one else uses mine, so no problem.
