Hi all wise and wonderful ones. I've been invited to take part in the the safety and effectiveness of an investigational vaccine known as GRT-R910 as a booster to prevent Covid 19. Sponsored by Gritstone bio Inc and carried out by a team of researchers at the Well one Foundation facility at Manchester Royal Infirmary for Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. What are people's thoughts?

Research Future Regarding Covid Vaccine
Is it a follow on from this trial- which looks as if it was done on healthy people-

If you’re happy to participate and they are fully aware of your existing medical issues (which I’m sure they will go through with a fine tooth comb)…then why not!
It is a follow on from the one we tried to get on earlier and failed. Criteria is 60+years, make that with a few to spare, have received 2 or 3 doses Pfizer vaccine (I've also had 2 Astra Zenica, not sure if that is good or bad), never had Coronavirus and not currently in any other trial.
Ok, thanks ….well good luck with it…
I've emailed that I'm interested, will keep in touch re reply and/or developments.
Please do!
Rejected. I've already had too many vaccinations, plus they don't want to trial anything on anyone with our problems.
Thanks for letting us know -can understand their reticence re immune compromised patients, but if they don’t trial on those patients then they are never going to get answers we would like to know. But probably not prepared to take the risk of adverse reactions….
I can see where they are coming from, but perhaps they could give those testers a choice. It was an easy choice about me as having had four vaccinations it ruled me out anyway, apparently they are looking for those who hadn't had a booster jab.
It does all depend on what Phase trial it is. And boosters do appear to have generated a very good increase in antibodies and other markers - so a lower threshold is being looked for.
