Hi there, I've been using this fantastic free app to work out my steroid tapers but am now finding it keeps crashing. Is anyone having the same experience? I wonder if it needs updating.

Don’t think it’s going to be updated, the lady who designed it did advise that funding was an issue, hopefully she may see this (have linked her in) and will respond -

Yes, I have found the same, it keeps crashing. Such a shame as it was so useful.

I use this too and it's been extremely helpful. Was fine not so long ago but now crashes when I try to log in too.

Because it's so handy, I wonder if perhaps more and more people are using it, so the associated web hosting is struggling to cope rather than the app itself necessarily needing updating?

This from the originator to another member a month or so ago -

“The problem is that I’ve now reached the storage capacity that Microsoft allow students and it costs such a lot of money to increase the capacity that this may be the end of the line for the app”’

Fran_Benson from the charity is aware, and hopefully is ‘on the case’ …..

What a shame. I tried to update my schedule the other day and it wouldn't let me - now I know why.

Could he make a small charge?

Not sure it’s as simple as that - was created as a university project in conjunction with the charity’.

Hopefully it will be resolved, but ..,.

I find using a spreadsheet is fine for planning and recording tapering. It also calculates my total Pred taken to date. and provides space to record notes such as daily symptoms. Google Sheets is a free online application which could be used. I'd be happy to make a template if anyone is interested. I use Excel myself, on a PC.

Hi Elizamcc, were you able to make the above template, and if so, might we try using it?

All plans can be found here -and I’m led to believe those on charity’s page are now working
