Saw my Endo bloke today ..............

Yeah , seems like a good bloke too ...............

A lot of questions from him, He said this could be a challenge...........

So, the short story is .........stop pred ........start hydrocortisone..............

Going away for a couple of weeks to see our son and his wife......so, not wanting to

start new medication while away from home , hydro will wait till the new year.

Then 30 Mg of hydro a day ,(20 in the morning, 10 at 2pm ).............. That is roughly equal to 7 Mg daily of pred (So i am told ) This is for 6 weeks, then a blood test, then see the Endo bloke for further instructions....... Thats it............ See you next year...........Merry XMas and a healthy new year to all you good people..

They are interesting specialists. I would wait too. Hydrocortisone is not so great for the disease symptoms but better for Adrenal recovery.
