Call with my doctor today

Well today was the time for my regular doctors call.

All going good, the race to 6 is going well, due to start my next reduction on the 21st. I think I'll delay it until the 24th and then try a different taper, DL's 5 week one, forgot the name of it.

ANyway, I asked the doctor for some 2.5mg coated and also some 1mg normal tablets, no problem prescription ready for me at the surgery. 2 boxes of coated 2.5's and 3 boxes of uncoated 1's. Ready for the next 1 or 2 reductions, wish me luck.

And yes I know it isn't a race and I'm also prepared to go back to the DSNS taper if needed. The uncoated 1mg tablets are only there if I feel I need a boost as they are quicker acting than the coated.

You could say I'm preped for my pred ;)

Some days are not as good as others, but being positive certainly helps :)

Looking forward to tryinf Dl's simple taper, not in a rush, but if it works for me, even for a few cycles, it's all good :)

Breadcrumbs will be easy to find, afterall I'm a messy eater!

I will post how I get on, had no problems using the DSNS taper for the last 6 or 7 months.

Second time trying to get to 6mg, flared last time, but so far so good, a better taper does help a lot.

Just lucky to have a doctor who lets me decide on how to reduce and gives me what's needed for the next taper.

Good luck! At least you're prepared ! Are you doing. 1 mg taper or half mg taper down to 6 ? Just out of interest.

I'm going from 7 to 6 so if my maths is correct that's a full 1mg!
