Yes, Normal is less than 1. Moderate elevation is less than 10.

Hi, welcome. Yes the crp is raised. It would help everyone to give a full answer if you could enter more detail on your profile, ie your prednisolone dose, past and current, how you feel now, your daily activity levels.

Hi, Dartmoor4. Yes, CRP at 95 mg/mL is considerably elevated. I believe the NHS regards 0 to 10 mg/mL as the normal range. I was between 60 to 80 mg/mL during a recent PMR episode, but I believe much higher levels can happen.

Do you know if you have elevated Sed (or ESR) levels too?

Yes - although every lab has its own normal range and that can vary 10-fold depending on the units used to measure it. It should appear in brackets after the reported number. However - in either case, 95 would be very high although it can go up into the hundreds after surgery when muscle tissue has been damaged.

My CRP was 254 and climbing before I was finally diagnosed in hospital with GCA/PMR five years ago. Blessed the day they put me on 40mg of Pred. Taken a long time to get to 8.5.
