"Interesting" Couple of Weeks

Hi all, have missed you all recently with a couple of weeks of stress filled activity. Started off with a horrendous family problem, still not totally solved, but about which I can say no more. A few days working in DIL's new home, which sounds and probably is daft but the cream on the pudding (not sure that's the right phrase) is that if it is finished she and partner will move in at/before Christmas and we get our house back!!!!! Then to add insult to injury my bank account got hacked!!! I think I have some parts which don't ache or are complaining and I'm hoping to have a few "lazy" days doing very little in the hopes that everything settles down and back to normal, well normal for us anyway and to get back to being more involved here.

A very stressful time all round then, and yes a few (or more if required) lazy days are essential. 😊

Forgot to add Granddaughter we had visited three days before has tested positive.😭😭 Doing lateral flows everyday and so far so good.🙂🙂

Sorry you’re going through such a challenging time. Friends and classmates of our grandchildren seem to be testing positive quite frequently these days but so far we’ve escaped. Hope you do too. Also our SIL had his bank account hacked after a very clever phone call pretending to be from the bank. He’s managed to have a refund of half the total scammed and is hoping to achieve more. You’re doing the right thing just watching the cricket!
