Had A nice surprise this afternoon, A text message to book my 3rd primary vaccine and got it booked for tomorrow, although GP practice fully booked so going to local hospital, so it looks as if they are finally getting their act together x
3rd primary vaccine, : Had A nice surprise this... - PMRGCAuk
3rd primary vaccine,
Good news Rosbud ☺️They seem to be very efficient getting the boosters done too. My PA daughter had her flu and Covid booster done last week so I’m relieved. I’m due my Covid booster end of November but eligible friends have had their 3rd primary vaccines done/booked and others have had their boosters as 6months since their primary vaccines. Hopefully things are getting better 😘 I’m actually very proud/impressed of the vaccine roll out.
Had my third jab three weeks ago. All done very efficiently by text on my phone, choice of venue, choice of date and choice of time. All done and dusted in 48 hours. Credit where credit is due!
That’s great news. Hope all goes well for you. I was booked in to have my booster this Saturday but not feeling too good, so my consultant suggested I re book when feeling better. Good luck.
I also received NHS text to contact GP as considered I could be immune compromised. Called reception. No knowledge. Not doing vaccines. All being done at the big vaccine centre. Called 119. Real human being. Could not book into a vaccine centre. Must get appt from GP. Called reception. Awareness now of third vaccine. No go. No supply yet. Request for a letter from GP so I could go to walk in centre. Refused. More “ hold” … then again said I had to wait. They would be offering it but no supply yet and no timeline. Meanwhile is a walk in offering daily Pfizer … but I can’t get appt via website nor GP. Frustrated!!
I had a text to book my 3rd primary jab which I have done and a text came to book my booster. I presume that was before I booked my 3rd as booster will now be 6 months from that
