Good, but just keep a note of how things are so you can discuss next time you speak to doctor.

I’m glad you have had Medical Advice - go with his recommendation but if you run into any issues Please Consult Your GP again for the way forward. You really need Medical input until you are stable. Very Best Wishes

That’s why you must stick to their guidelines so if you run into issues you can speak to them & explain what is happening. As l say people who change their timings etc is because something isn’t working as well as it might BUT they get their Drs Approval First (or should do)

Longtimer’s like me know how our bodies react, know what a True Flare is & what needs to be done but when l was ‘New’ l stuck to what my Specialist said & got in touch with him if l had issues.

Once l was on MTX we have access to a Rheumatology Helpline so that is extremely useful, l personally only ask them if l should change my dose with the backing of blood tests or increased symptoms.

When l was in Wales l could get a blood test anytime, so if l had an issue, l had my bloods done then l rang the Helpline & invariably DrL would ring me at the end of the day, so l have been exceptionally fortunate in the care l’ve had, no so much the PMR

Good Luck
