It was a pred increase I needed.

Update from this morning. Stuck with 15mg increase from 10mg. Once my stiff back eased (because I’d spent most of the last three days in bed) I went on to drive an hour to Manchester shop a bit walk a lot then sit through a gig for 3 hrs then drive an hour home. All comfortable. No aches or pains or feeling fluey. No nap needed and I didn’t miss it! Nice to feel like that again. Realise I can’t stay on 15mg for ever but DO realise I need to taper slowly slowly. Thanks for your advice and reassurance guys. X

Don't go and overdo it now you feel OK again. The secret with PMR is rest, rest, rest.

Thanks piglette. Don’t plan on doing much today but your message has reinforced that for me. Lazy day!!!!

Watch the Olympics. Perhaps not, I get quite exhausted just watching and thinking there is no way I could even attempt doing anything like that!

They seem not to be showing it on tv, but I have watched (after the event) some of the equestrian events on my laptop. No question of trying to compare myself to those athletes - not that I do anyway - but I love watching that sport, the connection between the horse and rider is so beautiful.

We got lots of equestrian stuff with the UK and Germany being heavily involved! What I couldn't find was the tennis when I wanted it.

I agree with Piglette.

Not just the slowly slowly - it is also essential to be aware of overshooting the dose you need at any given time.
