I’ve had a wisdom tooth infection started 10 days ago and I am on antibiotics but the pain in my cheeks and jaw is still bad and constant aching… my mouth hurts to open too … worried in case it’s GCA could it be?

Sounds more like a TMJ problem which is not uncommon with a wisdom tooth - GCA jaw pain is claudication pain, hurts when you are eating or talking but eases when you stop.

Is it there all the time, or only when you are chewing? …..if former, unlikely, if latter, could be!

It’s constant am taking paracetamol every 4-6hrs… it feels like it’s my cheek… which is swollen and my top jaw now 🤷🏼‍♀️

More likely TMJ as suggested by PMRpro
