Dental braces at 72

My dentist tells me my teeth are slowly moving like tectonic plates (his words) and are now wearing the back of my front top teeth. He suggests a brace to stop further movement. Has anyone else experienced this? Could it be pred related?

This is a new one on me.I offered to pay for my (aged 12) grandson’s orthodontist treatment to align his teeth $6,600 Australian. (Eek!) Making me realise how lucky we have been in the U.K. during my lifetime. We all have to have Hollywood teeth these days.

I don’t think we can lay everything at Pred’s door. If they are bothering you, I’d go for it.

No not bothering me - just wearing out the enamel on the back of teeth. Nothing to see that is any different. Thought I would post as have seen teeth problems mentioned in past

Yes Poshdog,

I got braces on when I was 65 and got them off when I was 70. Still have a retainer at night
