Phlebitis and flucloxacillin

I have been given flucloxacillin 500mg to take for phlebitis 4 times a day for 5 days is this safe as I am over 50 yrs old also?

I'm fairly sure I have taken flucoxacillin - seemed OK to me.

There are online sites that tell you about contraindications and interactions with other drugs. The one DL has given works in the UK only - and you don't say anything at all about your history and where you are on your profle.

The first site I looked at was a US site, and as it didn't recognise flucoxacillin I just assumed poster was from UK, which is why I linked the one I did.
