Advice please

Tapering and been on 4mg for two weeks have developed niggle in what feels like kidneys and it’s just that , a niggling pain/ache I drink literally gallons of water . Sadly still struggling with weight loss but have altered my mindset to getting better first and must say seem a lot better for it

When you say you drink gallons of water, is that because of excessive thirst or out of habit? Too much water can be as bad for you as too little.

I must drink 2 litres a day I always have done so I don’t class it as a problem all my bloods are normal and have been since diagnosed 2 years ago it’s just this thing at the top of where my kidneys are wondering if it’s due to coming down on the pred otherwise I feel ok but obviously have really good days and then bad days with no energy

It COULD be the adrenals muttering - do the bad days with no energy come after a particularly good day when you have done too much?

Yes definitely! I have had to learn to do less or I will pay for it the next day I will be completely floored but so far so good it’s annoying that people don’t realise how debilitating this is particularly having a good day then a really bad one with zero energy! You look alright they say 😡
