This morning 9th June Fascinating piece on auto immune diseases and women. Didn’t hear anything about PMR itself but lots of interesting stuff. I’ll need to listen to it again but think a lot of you will enjoy it.

Hi Lochy. I heard it too and posted. Excellent that there's going to be serious research into what connects all autoimmune diseases. This is the link and the piece starts at about minute 40:

Hi Marijo, thanks for finding the link. I was on my way into my GPs to get my bloods done and knew if I didn’t post it there and then I’d forget! 🙄

I heard a part of it but it’s now on a pod cast, though I was unable to post the link here for some reason. There was a lot of talk about particular women’s issues ( endometriosis, vaginal mesh problems to name two) and also about auto immune diseases. Women’s health minister, Nadine Dorries, was interviewed. It appears there is a UK government consultation currently being held where people’s experiences are being sought , so please take part; the deadline for contributions is June 13th

Thanks for that Suzita76. I have filled it in and sent the link in to other women friends. Good for Nadine Dorries!
