Doctor's appointment

Good news from my appointment today. Thorough examination, full array of blood tests to be done, results and advice to come in a few days.

I don't have arthritis, my age may well be the reason for some of the aches. He is quite happy that I am on 6mg of Prednisolone and will decide what we will do once he has the results of the inflammatory blood test. He usually keeps patients on a dosage for 4 to 6 weeks and added that any dosage below 5mg is not detrimental.

I think I've happened upon a winner here.

After reading so many posts on here with weird and wonderful advice from Doctors and Rheumies I was quite dreading the appointment.

I have a great GP too. Makes all the difference. Hang on to her. And good luck with 6mg and slow tapering.
