Forgot to take Pred this morning

Forgot to take my Pred dose this morning. Now in agony. Just taken my 8mg dose. Should I go up or wait for the Pred to kick in

Hi,I think we've all been there at some stage with forgetting our pred. If it was me, I'd wait for the pred to kick in. No point in taking more just yet.

Hope your pain retreats again very soon.

If you were just late, you will have to be patient. An increased dose won't work any quicker.

I have alarms set on my phone for the times I need to take specific meds - and a dosette box so I can see what has already been taken. Neither is 100% foolproof but they do help.

Thanks. See what tomorrow brings. A while ago I posted that I was having trouble walking and you suggested to get checked out for PAD. Well I did get checked out and had stenosis in both my femoral arteries. They have now been cleaned out and a couple of stints put in. I had the joy of going hiking 10k a week after surgery. So thank you for your advice. Sometimes can’t blame everything on PMR.
