Empty blister packs

Just discovered that empty pill blister packs can be recycled. Superdrug pharmacies have a box into which they can be put. As lots of us take multiple pills, I know we all have lots of empty packs and its good to know they can be recycled. I believe some local pharmacies are also in the scheme.

This is really good news! Until now I've never heard a mention of the millions of unrecyclable blister packs we throw away every day and feel a little flare of annoyance every time I do it myself. Will badger my local pharmacy to join the scheme too.

I believe in my area we are now able to put them in our recycle bins along with yogurt foil tops.

Yes, I saw this and my local one is participating. Currently saving all my blister packs until I go in.
