My nephew brought this to my attention stating it claims to be good for inflammation. Has anyone else heard of it? Not sure how it would interact with prescription drugs. Any thoughts?

Interesting. Think I would need to get advice from docs before I try it because of the steroids/medication I am taking but perhaps it’s worth a try

Yes it does. My brother has just been diagnosed with Parkinson’s and my nephew has bought some for him

You might like to get your hands on a book, I'll look up the title as he wrote two books at least, by Norman Doidge. In it is a chapter on a Parkinsons patient who did so well with a regimen he developed that doctors began to doubt his original (but definitely confirmed) diagnosis.

The Brain's Way of Healing by Dr Norman Doidge. This is also the book where I found out about Low Level Light therapy which helped me through my taper on pred, and which I am now turning to again now that I am dealing with a serious flare. Already seems to be helping.

So sorry about the flare. Hope you manage to get on top of it soon. Have ordered the book for my brother and thanks again xx

Thank you . Appreciated. My mum had Parkinson’s and I looked after her for many years. I just hope medicine has improved since then

As with all supplements - do check with a pharmacist or doctor about the wisdom of trying it. I have to say - this has the sort of numbers of claims that make me very sceptical! But if they are tasty mushrooms ...
