Aspartate aminotransferase in Serum or Plasma (SGOT, AST)

I had the results of various blood tests yesterday and my rheumatologist was very pleased, particularly as my ESR was 4 and my CRP was 0.2. That aside, it was only when I got home that I compared the SGOT, AST with results from 6 months ago just after I was first diagnosed. In August 2020 the value was 21.50 in a range of 0.00 - 40.00 U/L. In February 2021 the value was 53.00. I don't really want to go back and question my rheumy as he seemed more than happy with all the results. Does anyone know if this elevated level is a normal side effect of prednisolone? Would appreciate any advice.
