The side effects listed for this treatment are horrid. I am very small and less than 48 kilos in weight. What are others’ experiences with this chemotherapy drug?

Zolendronic acid transfusion for osteoporosis
As far as I know they are much the same for ALL bisphosphonate drugs - the down side is that once the infusion is in you can't stop it like with oral versions. I know MrsNails said in a very recent thread with the same question that she'd had it with chemo and had no trouble.

(Reclast is zolendronic acid)
There are several threads about it if you look under the Related Posts list.
Hi Bennijax
Zolendronic Acid is a bisphosphonate not a Chemotherapy drug.

In recent years it has been used as an adjuvant therapy following Chemotherapy particularly in TNBC (Triple Negative Breast Cancer) to try to help prevent the BC from spreading to the bones, the main benefits were for Post Menopausal Women rather than younger women, I have had this treatment myself.
The side effects listed compared to the side effects of Chemotherapy pale into insignificance.
Kind Regards
