I have received an appointment for midday 13 August and due to fly 7am next day. Would it be wise to change the infusion appoint to a later date.I cannot find any guidance on this.

Flying after zolendronic acid infusion
Best to ask the medical team who do the infusions.
Have you had an infusion before without any side effects? The nurse told me 1 in 3 may have side effects and to take paracetamol as a precaution. I assumed I’d be the 2 in 3 who don’t get side effects and didn’t take paracetamol. Wrong. Ten hours later I woke up in bed feeling clammy and shaky. Bit ropy for a day or so but all ok in the end. Many people on here have had no response so I could be the outlier. As pro says, check with the team.
Thank you this is the best advice and what I will do had no ill effects first time round
I rang the infusion unit they were very helpful and changed to a later date . .There is a possibility of feel ing as you describe so this was the best outcome thank you
